Welcome to The Duke of Edinburgh's Award!

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is an International youth program that operates in over 120 countries around the world.  It encourages personal development for young people aged 14 to 25 and is all all about individual choices.  Every person is different, so too are their challenges.

The Award is about setting goals and improving yourself, with guidance from people skilled in the activities you choose for each section of The Award, i.e. Bronze, Silver or Gold. 

The Award is made of up four components 1.Service, 2.Skills, 3.Physical Recreation, 4.Adventurous Journey, with an addition of a Residential Project for Gold Awardees.

Each year The Duke of Edinburgh's Award gives thousands of young people the chance to set and achieve personal challenges and to prove to themselves they can suceed in anything they turn their mind to.
